Description

Hobart has powerful links with Antarctica. Our history, our location and our psychology focus significantly on the south. The Polar Pathways Tour leads us to those locations in Hobart that have strong connections with Antarctic exploration. It commences at the Tasman Monument in Salamanca Place; to the wharves; past the GPO; Franklin Square and Hadley’s Hotel; to St David’s Park. This event will remind us how important Antarctica has been and how it remains close to everything we do in Hobart.
