Personal profile: John Williamson
John has been a passionate teacher for 40 years. He has taught Pre-Tertiary Modern History, Ancient History and Philosophy, at Fahan School and he has lectured on Antarctic History at the University of Tasmania’s Institute of Marine and Antarctic Studies. John and a colleague developed the Polar Pathways Tour for the State Government and John has been a regular guide for these during the Antarctic Mid-Winter Festivals. John has worked in Antarctica as a guide/historian.
