Summary

A dichotomising key is presented to facilitate the
identification of the 190 species of the family
Gramineae so far recorded for Tasmania. Brief
notes of interest are included and the technical
terms used are defined in diagrams and a short
glossary. A second key to 70 species based on
vegetative characters alone is included.
