Summary

In this first list of the diaspidid scale insects occuring in Tasmania 40 species are recorded. The list is based exclusively on specimens held in the permanent collection of the Tasmanian Department of Agriculture. The host-plant list comprises 79 species from 32 families.

Acknowledgement of Country
