  1. The RST Foundation 

The purpose of the Foundation is to increase the corpus of the Foundation while investing funds wisely and appropriate to the goals of The Royal Society of Tasmania.

  1. The Honours & Bursary Committee of the RST 

The purpose and goal for 2017 is to promote the Honours facet of the Society as it promotes “The Advancement of Knowledge”. In particular this committee will seek nominations and make recommendations to the Council for:

  1. The Royal Society of Tasmania Medal;
  2. The M. R. Banks Medal; and
  3. Two Royal Society Doctoral Awards.

  1. The 175 Anniversary Committee

The purpose of the group is to organise events for The Royal Society of Tasmania’s 175th anniversary in 2018.
